Position Overview & Specifications
The applicants will have a broad based training in urological Surgery. They should have Specialist Recognition in Urological Surgery. They must be able to integrate well within the department and help deliver urological services to the local population. They should understand cancer pathways and routine non-cancer diagnostic pathways. They should be able to be on-call and supply urological advice and assistance in emergencies. The successful applicant will participate in the weekly cancer MDT meeting. The role will encompass general urology, with the opportunity to develop a specialist interest to fit in with the department’s needs, and develop new technologies and techniques.
