I’m working with a Practice in a semi-rural area in Stafford, who would like a Medical Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis. The hours are negotiable and the practice will be willing to work with your availability. We are looking for a candidate who is availble to start immediatley.
They are offering
- Salary of £10.50 ph (negotiable)
The Practice has approximatley 10,800 patients on its lost size, with a supportive clinical staff consisting of GPs, Nurses and HCAs, and non-clinical staff members. The practice uses Emis Web but they're happy to train you on their surgery's system and process.
Medical receptionists are the first point of contact for patients either face to face at reception or via the telephone dealing with patient enquires. You will provide a receptionist service and administrative support at the practice for management of appointments and maintenance of records.
Responsibilities·
* Meeting and greeting patients
* Telephone reception and message service
* Documentation management
* Making appointments on the computer
* Filing and scanning clinic letters
* Ensuring patient confidentiality is maintained at all times
* Updating records
* Liaising with patients and members of the clinical team
* Issuing repeat prescriptions
* Patient related admin tasks.

* Available to work extra hours when required
* Excellent IT skills

* First rate telephone manner
