As a Kitchen Assistant at Richmond Richmond Village, you’ll assist our Chefs in ensuring all catering areas are cleaned, maintained and safe. Working hours and salary £10.50ph Plus Excellent Benefits What your typical day involves
- Preparing simple meals and ancillary items for service under the direction of the Chef
- Washing dishes by hand or loading the dishwasher, you’ll store clean items neatly and safely to minimise breakages
- Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors to ensure they’re free from grease or spillage at all times
- Washing work tables, walls, kitchen equipment and appliances, adhering to cleaning schedules
- Operating kitchen equipment and transferring this safely between storage and work areas
- Ensuring the kitchen is kept tidy and left secure, rubbish is removed, and all supplies are put away in the correct place
- Adhering to company Food Safety and Health and Safety policies at all times, maintaining all records outlined in the HACCP policy

Who we are
Richmond Willaston is a specialist dementia village in South Cheshire, this new concept will help to transform the way people are supported to live with dementia. The household model will create a supportive environment for those with early onset dementia, providing a positive and proactive lifestyle – surrounded by a beautiful woodland walk, a children’s play area for visiting children, a sensory outdoor garden as well as a café bar. In addition, the onsite care home will support more advanced stages of dementia.
