APPRENTICE – STREET LIGHTING

Blackburn with Darwen Council have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Highways Street Lighting division.

The service maintains and improves the boroughs lighting infrastructure together with the fabrication and installation of road signage, street nameplates, and pedestrian guardrails.

The successful candidate will receive on the job training in all areas from electrical installations and technical designs to metal fabrication works.

Your starting salary will be £6.83 an hour in your first year. During your second year you will remain on this amount or the minimum wage for your age, whichever is higher.
