Technician Register - Belfast School of Art



**Grade: **Business Support Technical Grade 5 - ยฃ13.32 per hour

We are currently seeking to create a Technician Register to fill short term vacancies that arise within the school. These roles will provide emergency cover and successful candidates may be called at short notice for an immediate start.

Within this role you will support students and academics by providing in depth knowledge and understanding of technical aspects relevant a specific discipline. You will ensure that specialist equipment and work areas are available and maintained at all times and that health and safety responsibilities are upheld.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Animation
  • Ceramics
  • Design
  • Fashion and garment construction
  • Fine art audio, photography and video
  • Fine art printmaking
  • Games design
  • Knitted and constructed textiles and fashion
  • Mouldmaking, casting and 3D form
  • Silversmithing & jewellery
  • Photography with video
  • Printed and dyed textiles and fashion
  • Textile art and embroidery
  • Textile weave
  • Audio-VisualWood & metal working
  • Illustration
