We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English and Maths teacher to join our team at BT Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English and Maths to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students and will be expected to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English and Maths lessons to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students
  • Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/carers
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and personal development of all students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the English and Maths curricula
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in English and Maths education and share best practices with colleagues

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) in English and Maths
  • Experience teaching English and Maths to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English and Maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
