We are looking for a confident Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care. Our services include working with young people, the elderly, those with varying disabilities.

Responsibilities

Providing general assistance to people and helping them to live independently.

Improving their quality of life, encouraging and supporting personal development.

Providing them with a positive and impactful presence.

Providing emotional support

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract

Salary: £10.75-£11.00 per hour

Day range:

  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday

Physical setting:

  • Care home
  • Day centre
  • Hospice
  • Hospital
  • Residential home

Shift:

  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sunderland, Tyne and Wear: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Care/Support (required)

Language:

  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
