Position Overview & Specifications
Duties include welcoming all patients and service users to the department.
Administrative processes for examination completion and managing the patient flow through the scanner.
Booking patients in for their examinations and directing to the relevant sub waiting areas.
Answering telephone queries and other general clerical duties.
Assisting with the transfer teams to move and direct patients around the department.
Working hours include Mon – Fri 08:00-17:00 with some overtime opportunities available.
The duties and responsibilities of the post holder are to be an effective member of the Radiology team, providing a high standard of imaging service to our patients and Radiology staff colleagues.
This post is ideal for strong communicators who enjoy being part of a close-knit team, whilst maintaining wider professional relationships with many disciplines within the hospital.
